In honour of our great mate, we aim to keep the tradition of bringing an international plant personality to tour garden clubs around New Zealand in the spirit of building friendship among enthusiasts and keeping NZ connected to the botanical world. It is an informal organisation made possible by the generosity and experiences for travelling speakers. For further information contact Hamish Brown; hamish.brown@plantandfood.co.nz.

Our last Steve Newall Lecture was introduced by Steve, and our guest was Kenton Seth, Colorado crevice garden expert. Kenton led a small group of enthusiasts from the NZAGS working with the Christchurch Botanic Gardens' Grant Matheson, to create the new crevice gardens. Check out Crevice Garden on our menu.

Kenton has a new book out too. He will be visiting us again for our February meeting, 2023.
