This year's SNM speaker is Paul Spriggs – well-known crevice garden developer and author.

The NZAGS is hosting a seminar to hear two presentations by Paul in conjunction with our End of Year Function and Awards Ceremony. These are separate functions, you can come to either one, or both, there is a blanket fee of $25 per person to attend. Please make payment to NZAGS and register your attendance below.

SNM Seminar

Venue: Field Research Centre, Lincoln University (see directions below)

Time:

  • 10.00 am - Morning tea – drinks and food provided

  • 10.30 am - Paul's Morning presentation 

  • 12.30 pm - Lunch (provided) followed by Paul's Afternoon presentation 

  • 3.00 pm - End of workshop​

Paul’s presentations:

Morning: Cracks and crevices. A bold Aesthetic for Adventurous gardeners.
Afternoon: Island Alpine: botanizing in Western North America’s Westernmost Mountain Ranges

EOY NZAGS Function and Awards Ceremony

  • 4:00 pm at Kathy and John Chamberlain’s – 17 Waterholes Road, Springston

  • (Last drive on left, last house – VERY limited parking down the drive – please park on Waterholes Road, or drop passengers at the house and head back out to Waterholes Road)

What to bring for the day

  •  A chair for the EOY function,

  •  Cup for coffee/ tea,

  •  Glass for wine/ beer or juice (EOY function)

Directions to the Field Research Centre (FRC), Lincoln University

From Springs Road turn onto South Drive at the Gate 4 entrance. Proceed around the building on your left in a U shape, then turn right into the Field Research Centre, we will have people on hand to direct you to a carpark.
